This site primarily serves parents whose children and adolescents (aged preschool through high school) have learning differences. It contains a wealth of information on identifying and managing learning differences, and links to helpful resources.
This is the NCLD (see below) site primarily designed for parents of children with learning and attentional challenges. It provides well-researched, practical information, access to expert advice, and a secure community for parents to share their experiences.
National Center for Learning Disabilities
The National Center for Learning Disabilities offers in-depth information about learning disability diagnosis, intervention, and advocacy.
Learning Ally is an online audiobook library for individuals all ages with documented learning disabilities. In addition, it provides an online community, as well as parent and educator resources.
International Dyslexia Association
The International Dyslexia Association is an organization comprised of professionals in partnership with dyslexics and their families. It actively promotes effective teaching approaches and related clinical educational intervention strategies for dyslexics. The IDA supports interdisciplinary research on the causes and early identification of dyslexia and is committed to the responsible and wide dissemination of research based knowledge.
